I had the pleasure of spending an evening with the beautiful Natasha for her grad session in Saskatoon. I forgot how quiet the U of S gets in June during the evenings! The day of our session started out SUPER windy and I was worried it would throw a wrench into our shoot, but we found enough shelter amongst the beautiful old University buildings and the light turned out just gorgeous. I just loved this gown from Exquisite Fashions and the jewelry from Hillberg & Berk complimented it perfectly. I highly recommend scheduling your grad session for an evening either before or after your actual graduation day takes place. This ensures you get the best light possible for your session and we can relax and have fun without the time constraints of a typical graduation day. Most of my grads opt to get their hair and makeup trials for the evening of their session and it works out wonderfully. Or you can do what Natasha did, and take a makeup lesson from Holly Decker so that she could do her own makeup for the shoot!
